We are now looking for a Group Compensation & Benefits Manager to join our Headquarters in Stockholm.

About the role

The Group Compensation & Benefits Manager reports to the Head of Group Compensation & Benefits and together you will oversee all compensation related matters for senior executives across the Group. You will collaborate with Group HR and give support to the senior executives.

In this role, you will hold primary responsibility for the Skanska Employee Ownership Program (SEOP) and work closely with stakeholders at all levels, both within and outside Skanska. The position requires strong legal understanding and a solid interest in financial matters. Your ability to analyze complex situations and find pragmatic solutions will be essential in the role.

The role includes:

  • Ensure effective operation and continuous development of the SEOP Program

  • Manage agreements for senior executives in the group and contribute to compensation reviews

  • Prepare reports and materials for Management, the Remuneration Committee and the Board

  • Prepare documentation for the Annual Report and auditors

  • Secure compliance with Swedish insider legislation and GDPR

  • Drive process and policy improvements and lead annual SEOP nomination processes

  • Support Global Mobility with SEOP‑related tax and mobility matters

  • Maintain and develop Group Compensation Standards, policies and guidelines

  • Contribute to projects such as new SEOP launches and procurement initiatives

About you

We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in economics, law, civil engineering or equivalent and around 7-10 years of relevant experience – either from a comparable role or from consulting within Compensation & Benefits.

You have experience working with HR processes and different HR tools. You are comfortable navigating complex issues, analyzing legislation, tax matters and data, and drawing well‑founded conclusions. Strong proficiency in Excel is essential, as is fluency in both English and Swedish.

You thrive in a dynamic environment, deliver high‑quality work and adapt easily to shifting priorities. In order to thrive in this role you need to enjoy building relationships across the organization. Experience from an international organization, project management, and managing external service providers are all considered advantages.
