Global Tax Specialist to Diaverum

In this role, you will report to the Director Global Direct Tax & Diaverum Corporate Finance Lead.
About the role
The main task is to ensure high professional standards in the Group’s tax operations. This includes leading and developing the tax strategy, raising awareness and knowledge of the Group and support subsidiaries with complex tax matters.
Your work will span both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, including:

Overseeing tax accounting and analysis of reported tax positions in connection with monthly closings

Ensuring that all Group entities remain fully tax compliant across jurisdictions

Acting as a trusted partner to operational stakeholders and external tax advisors, ensuring that business decisions reflect accurate tax and cash implications

Managing tax matters for Swedish legal entities, including annual group contribution calculations

Collaborating closely with Group Accounting, Business Control and Legal to secure accurate tax inputs in planning, budgeting and financial reporting in line with IFRS and applicable standards

Your profile
You have a relevant university degree and bring 5+ years of experience from an international company or audit firm. Your background has given you a strong technical foundation and the ability to navigate complex, cross-border tax matters.
We are looking for someone with:

Experience in international corporate taxation, including Pillar 2, double taxation relief, treaty analysis and tax audits

Strong knowledge of Swedish corporate taxation

Experience in tax accounting according to IFRS

Exposure to transfer pricing and tax compliance processes
Fluent English and Swedish, both written and verbal are required for this position. Experience from working in financial group reporting systems is an advantage.
As a person you are mature, responsible and confident in your expertise. You enjoy translating complex tax topics into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders who may not have a tax background. You combine a hands-on mindset with the ability to think strategically and independently. Managing external advisors and suppliers is something you feel comfortable with, and you thrive in a dynamic, international environment.
